Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Jennie List grew up in a music loving family, and began performing at the age of three. She started writing songs in high school, and won the New England Country Music Organization’s Songwriter of the Year and Most Promising Songwriter awards for two consecutive years in 2015 and 2016. A lifelong fan of country music, she moved to Nashville in the fall of 2016 to pursue her higher education at Belmont University’s Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business where she earned a BA in Songwriting and Music Business. During her time at Belmont, Jennie was a member of CMA Edu, NSAI, and the Recording Academy’s GrammyU program (of which she currently remains a member). Through participation and opportunities with these organizations, Jennie developed a fascination with the complexity of the music business. Her first foray into the industry was in 2018 at Harlan Howard Songs, where she worked for a year as a publishing intern. She later ventured into the world of artist management, joining 117 Entertainment Group as a management intern in the summer of 2019. Jennie has a deep passion for music and songwriting. “I love good storytelling in songs as much as I love helping an artist to share those stories with the world. Maintaining and promoting an artist’s brand is such a humbling and unique experience to be a part of, and I love helping them to achieve their goals.” Jennie's work has been featured through Rolling Stone Magazine, The New York Times, and on NBC's Today.
